Tiare Apetahi
Emblem of legendary and naturel heritage of RAIATEA. Following a marital dispute, Apetahi decided to go to mount Temehani. The thought of death came to mind. She severed her own arm, planted it in the ground. She died from loss of blood.
Sometime later, appeared a flower with a corolla to 5 petals, on one side only, we understood than it was the hand of Apetahi and we called the flower: The Tiare Apetahi
